Steven N. Branch, Sr. is a workforce development entrepreneur, community engagement leader, and passionate advocate for expanding access to opportunity. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping students, professionals, and organizations build meaningful connections that lead to career success, leadership growth, and lasting community impact.

A former Division I football student-athlete and Big 4 public accountant, Steven began his professional journey in assurance and auditing with PwC and KPMG before transitioning into talent acquisition, workforce development, and higher education leadership. This unique combination of experiences has shaped his ability to bridge the worlds of business, education, and community engagement while helping individuals navigate their professional journeys.

Today, Steven serves as Senior Associate Director of Community Engagement within the Career Development Office at MIT Sloan School of Management, where he cultivates inclusive communities, strengthens professional networks, fosters belonging, and expands talent pipelines that connect students and alumni to career opportunities. Through strategic partnerships and innovative programming, he helps create environments where talent can thrive and achieve meaningful career outcomes.

Beyond his leadership at MIT Sloan, Steven is the Founder and Executive Director of Branch Resource Inc. and President of Branch Resource LLC, organizations dedicated to empowering individuals and communities by bridging talent and opportunity through workforce development, leadership training, coaching, and community-centered experiences. He is also the creator of the OpportuniTee Golf Classic and The OpportuniTee Clubhouse, initiatives that leverage golf, networking, and career development to create pathways for personal and professional growth.

Alongside his wife, Britney Branch, Steven is the co-creator of The Branch Model™, a sustainable wellness and leadership framework designed to help mission-driven professionals prevent burnout, strengthen emotional regulation, and build resilience while leading at a high level.

Steven also serves as an Independent Director on the Board of the New England PGA REACH Foundation, where he champions the belief that access to the game of golf can create access to life-changing opportunities. Through the power of relationships, mentorship, and community, he continues to help open doors for the next generation of leaders.
